SDET Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative software development team. This role is crucial to supporting the delivery of high-quality software across our product portfolio in the UK Insurance sector, which includes Motor, Anti-Fraud, Property and Personal Injury solutions. Working within an Agile Scrum environment, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This role is open to candidates with the right to work in the UK, as well as those who require visa sponsorship. We welcome applications from individuals with a degree or equivalent qualification, or those with significant relevant experience in software testing and automation. Desirable Qualifications and Experience • Technical knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, or experience working in a Java-based environment. • Familiarity with the UK Insurance industry, particularly Motor Claims, Anti-Fraud, or Property & Personal Injury domains. • Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter or K6. • Experience in using AI tools to drive/improve testing such as CoPilot. • Industry-recognised testing certifications such as ISTQB or ISEB. • Previous experience working with test strategies in regulated or high-compliance industries.
