Relationship Executive - Healthcare Technology Payments Banking - Executive Director

As a Relationship Executive on the Healthcare Technology Payments Banking team, you will be responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Commercial and Specialized Industries group specializing in Healthcare Technology. The Healthcare Technology team is part of J.P. Morgan's Commercial Bank in its Commercial and Specialized Industries group. In this role you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with the world’s most innovative companies. We work both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the entire firm to our clients. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate the ability to build a brand within your market that represents the Healthcare Technology team as the “Leading Innovation Economy bank serving the best and most diverse clients” Develop new business in your market by acquiring new relationships, evaluating credit opportunities, deepening existing relationships by delivering the entire Firm Lead internal strategic discussions with partners across all our solutions including Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Risk Management, and Payments Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset balanced with the ability to manage risk (credit, operational, and reputational) appropriately Research prospects and participate in ‘discovery’ to determine the banking tools they need to power their business while also identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 8+ years of related experience Credit experience with investor backed companies Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services Understanding and interest in high growth software, payments, ecommerce and marketplaces Excellent sales management and business development skills Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Exam Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred Experience working with Capital Markets and Investment Banking products/services FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT: This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
