Regulatory Change Management - Vice President

Help shape how regulatory change is identified, assessed, and delivered in a dynamic private banking environment. In this role, you’ll partner with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to translate new requirements into clear actions and timely outcomes. You’ll build trusted relationships, drive coordination across teams, and strengthen sustainable processes that support the client experience. You’ll also gain broad visibility across change themes and develop your leadership in a global control-focused function. As a Legal and Regulatory Change Management Lead within the Private Bank, you will help ensure new and amended laws, rules, and regulations are identified, assessed, and implemented in a timely, consistent, and well-documented manner. You will own early-stage change activities such as horizon scanning and intake, and you will coordinate impact assessment and implementation with legal, compliance, risk, and business subject matter experts. You will keep stakeholders aligned through clear ownership, accurate records, and disciplined follow-through against key dates. You will cover change activity primarily impacting the United States and Latin America. Job responsibilities Monitor external and internal sources to identify new or amended laws, rules, and regulations potentially relevant to the Private Bank. Perform initial triage to assess relevance and materiality, remove false positives, and seek input from legal and compliance partners as needed. Maintain complete and accurate inventories, mappings, assessments, and workflow records across relevant systems and authoritative data sources. Partner with business owners and subject matter experts to complete impact assessments, define actions, assign accountable owners, and agree delivery dates. Track progress against effective dates, compliance dates, and agreed service expectations; identify dependencies, challenge delays, and escalate risks or potential breaches. Facilitate effective cross-team forums and coordination to calibrate assessments and outcomes where appropriate. Produce clear status reporting, metrics, and management information, and support governance, oversight, controls, and ongoing procedure maintenance activities. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 7 years of experience in regulatory change management, compliance risk, or legal and regulatory implementation. Experience coordinating work across multiple stakeholders and functions (for example: legal, compliance, risk, and business partners). Strong analytical judgment with the ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into practical business implications. Knowledge of regulatory change, risk, and control frameworks, with disciplined attention to documentation, data quality, and deadlines. Strong facilitation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across regions, legal entities, and teams. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including concise reporting and escalation of complex issues to senior stakeholders. Strong organization, prioritization, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple changes and dependencies. Proficiency with workflow and tracking tools and Microsoft Excel to maintain records, reconcile information, and produce reporting. Ability to work independently while coordinating with a global team to share best practices and maintain consistency.
