Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance within a collaborative development environment 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools 3+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs and web services Experience creating test plans, executing test cases, and reporting quality outcomes Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize issues effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills Knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, and scripting languages Experience building and maintaining automated test scripts Familiarity with Python, Java, C#, or .NET development environments Experience testing non-GUI applications, including databases, flat files, and integration services Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies Exposure to AI-enabled technologies and modern software development practices Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter Experience supporting enterprise-scale software platforms Experience working in data-driven or analytics-focused technology environments Why Join Verisk?
