Principal Consultant - Design Management

The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design aspects of infrastructure projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with client requirements, and coordination across disciplines. This role spans the full project lifecycle—from concept to completion—and involves managing consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) 12 to 15 years of experience in infrastructure design management, preferably with consultancy and contractor exposure The candidate should be a professionally qualified Engineer or should have started the journey towards the same. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of infrastructure systems (roads, utilities, structures) Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, ACC) Excellent project management and communication skills. Familiarity with design coordination, cost estimation, and technical documentation.
