Marine / Costal - Modelling Engineer

We are seeking a Marine Modelling Engineer to support WSP Denmark's Marine Team in delivering marine, coastal, and offshore infrastructure projects. The role involves advanced numerical modelling, marine environmental assessments, and technical reporting for projects such as offshore wind farms, submarine cables, pipelines, ports, harbours, and marine outfalls. The successful candidate will work closely with marine specialists in Denmark and contribute to technically challenging projects using industry-standard modelling software including MIKE 21, MIKE 3, IWRAP, and dBSea. Education Bachelor's or Master's Degree in: Civil Engineering Coastal Engineering Ocean Engineering Marine Engineering Environmental Engineering Water Resources Engineering Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred 10+ years of experience in marine and coastal modelling. Experience on international marine projects is highly desirable. Technical Skills Essential MIKE 21 MIKE 3 MIKE Zero Advanced numerical modelling GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) Advanced Excel Preferred IWRAP dBSea Python scripting and automation Marine data analysis Offshore wind project experience Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MIKE 21 and MIKE 3 modelling , experience in marine hydrodynamics, sediment transport, water quality, and offshore infrastructure projects , and the ability to independently deliver modelling assignments for WSP Denmark's growing marine portfolio.
