The Opportunity Our Property and Buildings Building Services team in Canberra is looking for an Intermediate Professional, Electrical Engineering with approximately 3 to 6 years’ experience to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to build your technical capability while contributing to a diverse range of building services projects. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle and continuing to develop your career within a leading global engineering consultancy. What You’ll Do Carry out electrical engineering and project work in line with relevant technical and commercial requirements. Undertake design and documentation for electrical building services, including power systems, lighting, communications and electronic security. Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, specifications and reports. Apply relevant Australian Standards, Codes and project requirements to your designs. Coordinate with other building services and engineering disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes. Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in design reviews, project meetings and site inspections where required. Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. About You Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent relevant qualification. Approximately 3 to 6 years’ experience in electrical building services design, ideally within a consulting engineering environment. Experience in electrical power, lighting and associated building services systems. Good understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Codes, including AS/NZS 3000 and the NCC. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet project deadlines and coordinate effectively with stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
