A little more about your role… As a Geospatial Consultant at WSP, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multidisciplinary projects across Water, Energy, Earth, and Environment. You will join a growing team of geospatial professionals committed to driving digital transformation and advancing our geospatial capabilities. As part of the Environmental Consents team, you will support a variety of projects, including climate change adaptation, renewable energy generation, transmission and distribution, resilient infrastructure, and water management, primarily through Development Consent Orders (DCO) and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality are essential. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will prepare and manage digital data from various sources, conduct spatial analysis, and produce intuitive web applications and supporting figures. You will play a key role in delivering project-related tasks, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard, consistently exceeding client expectations. You will also contribute to promoting our geospatial services both internally and externally. Responsibilities will include… Support multidisciplinary projects by delivering high-quality GIS outputs, spatial analysis and data management solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ETL tools and industry best practices. Contribute to innovative digital project delivery through the development and maintenance of web GIS applications and platforms, leveraging ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. Ensure the integrity, quality and governance of spatial data by supporting the capture, validation and management of datasets produced both internally and by third parties. Assist in the design, development and maintenance of local and enterprise geodatabases, enabling efficient storage, management and accessibility of spatial information. Deliver GIS outputs that meet established standards, scope, and budget while consistently achieving exceptional quality and client satisfaction Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored geospatial solutions Share knowledge, ideas, and innovations to strengthen the technical capability of the GIS team Help shape efficient working practices that deliver industry-leading, best-value services to clients Provide GIS expertise across the business wherever needed Commit to continuous professional development to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies Be prepared to travel occasionally to other offices for business development and project meetings What we will be looking for you to demonstrate… Understanding of GIS principles and GI data management, with the ability to apply them across diverse sectors Experience in desktop and web GIS, including: Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online Configuration of ArcGIS web applications such as Experience Builder, Dashboards, 3D scenes, Survey123, and Field Maps Skilled in building and automating workflows using FME Form (desktop) Proficient in managing spatial data using File Geodatabases (FGDB) and Enterprise Geodatabases (EGDB), with experience in maintaining data access and integrity Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering quality and identifying opportunities to add value through GIS Familiarity with publishing workflows to FME Flow (server) for enterprise-level automation Working knowledge of scripting and development languages such as Arcade, Python, JavaScript, and SQL Awareness of DCOs and EIAs, and how GIS enables digital delivery and informed decision-making Dont quite meet all the criteria?
