Development Operations Engineer - Hybrid

Verisk is seeking an engineer to help adhere to best practices in the cloud. In this role, you'll learn and apply knowledge of Cloud-specific technologies and services and be part of the team leading the design and implementation of Verisk’s Cloud Strategy. Experience with building large-scale enterprise architecture solutions, including security concerns, high availability methods, multiple platforms, hardware considerations, network design, monitoring solutions, virtualization, performance, capacity planning, and information management practices Experience with AWS and cloud architecture Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, etc. Familiarity with Splunk Experience with containers and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of development methodologies and experience with Python development Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools and methodologies, CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform Experience with CI/CD and configuration management tools and technologies, including Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins etc. Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and passion for continuous improvement Experience with agile processes (Kanban / Scrum), including familiarity with JIRA BA or BS degree Amazon Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect, Associate or higher is a plus #LI-MB1 #LI-Hybrid
