Associate - Roads

Associate - Roads is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering UK Local Government projects to the required technical, quality, cost, and programme standards. The role ensures designs are robust, compliant with UK standards and legislation, and delivered through effective leadership of a multidisciplinary team in GCC India. Key Competencies / Skills Essential Working experience on UK Highways or Local Government infrastructure design. Strong technical understanding of relevant UK standards, design guidance, and legislation. Ability to direct and check work produced using key design software such as Civil 3D and OpenRoads. Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and contributing to operational management of a group of up to 15 staff. Strong experience in project and resource management. Understanding of construction processes, buildability, and construction management principles. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Highway or Transportation Engineering or related field. Over 15 years of Highway Engineering experience with significant leadership responsibilities. Strong track record of managing teams or delivering complex, high‑profile Highways/ Roads projects in consultancy. Professionally qualified with Chartered status/ CEng from a recognised professional institute, or currently in the process of obtaining it.
