Produce reliability predictions using MIL-HDBK-217 and related methodologies, alongside maintainability analyses, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and testability/Built-In Test (BIT) assessments. Establish and manage the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), ensuring effective failure tracking, data trending, root cause investigations, and corrective action closure. Develop failure definitions and scoring criteria, reliability test plans, and reliability growth strategies, including demonstration testing, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and HALT/HASS where applicable. Support qualification test planning, all-up-round testing, and reliability assessments for ground, flight, and live-fire testing. Prepare R&M standards, specifications, procedures, technical reports, and user documentation.
