Project Manager, Security

Accountabilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through implementation, validation, and operational handover, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity, identity and access management (IAM), or data security projects involving technical teams and business stakeholders. Understanding of the cybersecurity delivery lifecycle, including assessment, solution design, implementation, testing, remediation, cutover, and transition to operations. Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies, including Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP), Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). Working knowledge of public cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding of identity security concepts, including IAM, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), service accounts, and secrets management. Familiarity with data security practices such as data discovery, classification, labeling, data loss prevention (DLP), retention management, insider risk, and data governance. Ability to manage technical and business stakeholders through security risk assessments, compliance considerations, control-related decisions, and competing project priorities. Experience developing project plans, budgets, forecasts, status reports, action plans, issue escalations, and client-facing documentation.
