Accountabilities: Business and functional requirements: Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for the new fixed-income platform, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities. Core banking platform expertise: Analyze and manage the functional configuration of banking ERP and core banking systems, particularly Autbank, Matera, or equivalent platforms, supporting operational, accounting, and regulatory processes. Gap analysis: Compare business requirements with the platform's native functionalities, identify gaps, and recommend configuration changes, customizations, or integrations to meet business needs. Platform configuration and parametrization: Define and implement business rules, operational tables, fees, rates, and fixed-income product parameters within the selected banking platform. API specifications and systems integration: Develop functional specifications for APIs, including inputs, outputs, validation rules, data mapping, and integration flows connecting the banking core with internal systems and external partners. Integration delivery coordination: Monitor integration development alongside internal engineering teams and software vendors, tracking functional requirements, technical dependencies, deliverables, and outstanding issues. Financial products and accounting workflows: Map financial events, accounting entries, chart-of-accounts structures, and reconciliation processes associated with fixed-income products, ensuring data consistency and traceability. Regulatory compliance: Ensure banking platform configurations support applicable Brazilian Central Bank (Bacen) requirements, regulatory reporting obligations, and relevant operational controls. Functional testing and UAT: Design test plans, prepare functional scenarios, coordinate integrated testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and end users. Business user support and training: Train operational teams to configure and use platform modules effectively, providing guidance on workflows, financial event processing, and correct transaction recording. Vendor and stakeholder management: Act as the functional point of contact for platform vendors, coordinating requirements, clarifying specifications, managing scope, and following up on technical and functional dependencies. Operational support and continuous improvement: Provide ongoing support to users, investigate functional issues, identify process bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to platform performance and the overall user experience. End-to-end process alignment: Ensure consistency across the full financial product lifecycle, from front-end operations and transaction processing through accounting, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting. Requirements Proven senior-level experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or equivalent role within banking, financial services, or fintech environments. Strong knowledge of core banking platforms , including hands-on experience with Autbank or Matera, which is a fundamental requirement for this position. Solid understanding of fixed-income financial products and their associated operational, accounting, tax, and regulatory processes. Experience configuring and parameterizing banking systems, including business rules, product structures, fees, interest rates, operational tables, and transaction workflows. Demonstrated ability to conduct gap analyses and translate business requirements into functional specifications, system configurations, and integration solutions. Experience designing and documenting API integrations, including data mapping, field definitions, validation rules, and end-to-end system interaction flows. Understanding of Brazilian banking regulations and Central Bank reporting requirements, with the ability to assess their impact on core banking configuration and operational processes. Knowledge of financial accounting workflows, chart-of-accounts structures, financial event processing, and reconciliation procedures. Experience with business process modeling using BPMN and the development of use cases, user stories, functional documentation, and process maps. Strong experience planning and executing functional tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Familiarity with project management, documentation, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions. Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to mediate discussions between business teams, technical specialists, and external vendors. High degree of autonomy, initiative, and ownership, including the ability to establish functional processes and drive decisions in a dynamic fintech environment.
