UiPath - RPA Developer (Python) - Associate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UiPath RPA Developer with strong Python skills to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and deploying UiPath automation solutions, combined with deep Python proficiency for building custom integrations, scripts, and data processing pipelines. You will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end automation that drives operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy UiPath RPA workflows and automation solutions across attended and unattended processes.
• Write clean, efficient Python scripts and custom UiPath activities to extend automation capabilities and integrate with external systems.
• Analyze, debug, and optimize existing UiPath workflows and Python-based automation components to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather process requirements, conduct feasibility assessments, and translate manual workflows into automated solutions using UiPath Studio.
• Build and maintain Python-based integrations with REST APIs, web services, and data pipelines that complement UiPath automation workflows.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks using UiPath Test Suite and Python (pytest) to ensure automation reliability and quality across deployments.
• Manage and monitor robots via UiPath Orchestrator, including scheduling, queue management, alert configuration, and performance reporting.
• Maintain version control of UiPath projects and Python code using Git, and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of RPA solutions.
• Leverage Python for web scraping, data transformation, and pre/post-processing tasks that feed into or extend UiPath automation pipelines.
• Interact with AWS services (S3, Lambda) and other cloud infrastructure to support scalable, cloud-based RPA deployments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for improvements. 
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 3+ years of UiPath RPA development experience, with at least 2 years of strong Python programming skills.
• Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and UiPath Test Suite; UiPath RPA Developer certification preferred.
• Advanced Python skills including scripting, automation, data manipulation (pandas, NumPy), and API integration.
• Experience with web scraping tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) for browser automation and integration with UiPath workflows.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with AWS services, especially Lambda functions and S3 buckets.
• Experience building custom UiPath activities or integrations using Python or .NET to extend native UiPath capabilities.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills:

• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer or Solution Architect certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and scaling RPA infrastructure.
• Familiarity with process mining or task capture tools (e.g., UiPath Process Mining, Task Capture) for identifying automation opportunities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and automation CoE (Center of Excellence) governance practices.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated RPA deployment pipelines.
