Supply Chain (Manufacturing) Strategy and Transformation Director

Acting as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic leader within Anaplan’s Integrated Business Applications organization, the Supply Chain, Strategy and Transformation Director sits at the Go To Market intersection of Product Management, Enablement, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners.

This role combines deep functional and process domain expertise (In Supply Chain and Manufacturing space) with technical application architecture, consultative selling, and ecosystem enablement. You will support Anaplan’s GTM Teams on all engagements that require your domain expertise, from initial demand generation programs to initial discovery and through to implementation, and expansion.

Preferred Location - Mumbai / Bangalore / Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

Partner seamlessly with Anaplan’s GTM Teams to ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain Enterprise Planning Applications into Anaplan’s GTM motion by:

• Contribute to the creation and delivery of scalable knowledge-sharing initiatives including compelling sales programs, executive presentations, ROI insights and customer success stories, and enablement assets (training materials, technical guides, evaluation frameworks) to empower internal teams and partners.
• Distill deep domain expertise and positioning into crisp, actionable sales tactics. Ensuring Supply Chain Applications presentations and demonstrations are clearly aligned with prospect and customer requirements. Support all stages of complex sales opportunities both onsite and remotely as a technical, process, and architectural expert. Act as ambassador to and advocate for application customers post-sale, driving expansion.
• Support our Platform, Application and AI Teams with application design and best practices, pre-market testing and early adopter customers. Capture structured feedback and translate field insights from customer, prospect, and partner engagements to Product Management to shape application roadmap priorities
• Support Anaplan, Analyst and Industry engagements and events as a key thought leader, including producing thought leadership content across diverse media. Contribute to market insights, whitepapers, top-of-mind and high-impact use cases for customer discovery and executive presentations.
• Collaborating with the Competitive Intelligence Team to deliver competitive differentiation in Anaplan’s positioning and value proposition, sharpening battlecards, and providing win reports that drive useable insights and tactics.

Key Metrics

• Adoption and successful completion of enablement by GTM Teams.
• Number of presentations, demonstrations, and other supporting activities of your Domain Applications.
• Total revenue, deal volume, and pipeline value associated with or influenced by Domain Applications.
• Qualitative evaluations and ratings from our GTM Teams.

Qualifications

• More than a decade of experience in Supply Chain Planning space
• Demonstrable understanding of Anaplan’s platform and its applications to solve complex business challenges (Or similar EPM / Enterprise Planning / Supply & Demand Planning solutions in the market)
• Deep domain knowledge of Supply & demand planning, at strategic, operational and headcount levels, the market of Supply Chain focused - Enterprise performance management, planning and reporting solutions, required processes and best practices, and the key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Understanding of product management, enablement and GTM operations.
• Proven experience in consultative selling or strategic advisory roles, preferably within SaaS or enterprise software, with the ability to ask the right questions, manage objections, and guide the sales journey from start to implementation and expansion.
• Have background working in Manufacturing industry – preferable to have worked directly in a manufacturing company in the past before transitioning to SaaS or Enterprise Software organizations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and knowledge-sharing skills, with a demonstrated exceptional ability in presenting compelling content, performing product demonstrations, leading workshops, and developing enablement programs.
• A results-driven mindset, able to collaborate across teams, with a focus on contributing deliverables of the highest possible quality and impact.
