Summer 2027 Internship, Market Access Consulting

We are seeking motivated, intellectually curious Summer 2027 Interns to join our Market Access Consulting team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on consulting experience while working alongside industry experts on real client engagements.

As an intern, you will function in a role similar to a full-time Analyst, contributing directly to project teams and client deliverables. Depending on business needs and project availability, you may be staffed on a single project for the duration of the internship or support multiple projects throughout the summer.

This is a full-time, paid internship with a minimum commitment of eight weeks during Summer 2027.

What You Can Expect

During your internship, you will:

• Work closely with project teams to understand client objectives, project plans, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Learn how market access consulting supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
• Gain exposure to a variety of therapeutic areas and healthcare challenges.
• Develop research, analytical, and presentation skills through meaningful project work.
• Participate in a structured intern program, including networking and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research using internal and external sources to address client business questions.
• Gather, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
• Support the development of strategic recommendations based on research findings and market insights.
• Identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions from complex information.
• Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and problem-solving discussions.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other client-facing deliverables.
• Participate in project team meetings and support follow-up activities.
• Seek, receive, and incorporate feedback from team members and project leaders.
• Support business development initiatives and proposal development activities as needed.
• Participate in a collaborative intern project alongside fellow Summer 2027 interns.

Qualifications

Required

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MBA, or other relevant degree program.
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029 for undergraduate students, or within one year of graduation for advanced degree candidates.
• Academic concentration in Life Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Business, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consulting, or market access.

Preferred

• Previous internship, research, or leadership experience.
• Experience analyzing data and presenting findings.
• Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system or pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
