Sr. Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing for Motive in the UK. This is a high-impact, hands-on, broad-based role and the primary marketing presence in the market.

This person is responsible for turning Motive’s global strategy into locally relevant programs that generate high-quality pipeline, support revenue growth, and strengthen customer relationships. The role’s core priorities are owning the UK marketing plan, driving targeted inbound pipeline, contributing to product marketing and localisation, leading field marketing and events, and reporting progress to stakeholders so the team can prioritise and pivot as needed.

You will work closely with UK Sales leadership and the US Marketing team, bringing the voice of the UK customer back into the business and ensuring Motive’s positioning, programs, and content resonate in-market. You will own the strategy and execution of the marketing plan as well as priorities and reporting - ruthlessly prioritising to ensure focus and support in the areas of most impact. The successful candidate will be comfortable stretching across disciplines, working cross-functionally, and delivering on the priorities that matter with limited day-to-day support.

What You’ll Do

Own the UK marketing plan, priorities, and reporting

• Build and own the integrated UK marketing plan across priority segments, aligning activity to regional revenue and pipeline goals.
• Set clear priorities and make thoughtful trade-offs across inbound, product marketing, field marketing, events, and sales support based on expected impact and available resources.
• Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for UK Sales leadership and key cross-functional partners.
• Build lightweight processes, documentation, automations, and reporting that make UK marketing activity visible, repeatable, and scalable.
• Report progress, performance, and market learnings to Sales and Marketing stakeholders, using data to recommend where to double down, pause, or pivot.
• Work with the Revenue and Marketing Analytics teams to measure performance from lead through opportunity and inform ongoing prioritisation.

Drive targeted inbound pipeline

• Take core responsibility for targeted inbound pipeline-generating activity in partnership with Growth Marketing, Sales, and Analytics.
• Help plan, execute, optimise, and measure focused campaigns and programs aligned to UK priorities and target accounts.
• Build account and territory plays with Sales and track performance through the funnel.
• Ensure inbound activity is connected to clear follow-up plans, audience priorities, and regional revenue goals.

Contribute to product marketing, localization, and sales support

• Contribute to the localisation of company and product positioning, messaging, and value propositions so they are relevant to UK buyers and differentiated in the market.
• Build strong feedback loops with Sales, customers, Product, Product Marketing, and global Marketing to share market learnings and support continuous iteration.
• Support the extension of product launches and feature releases into the UK, working with global cross-functional teams to ensure relevant local activation.
• Contribute to sales collateral, presentations, enablement materials, and other resources that help the UK Sales team effectively position the Motive platform.
• Support the development of UK customer stories, testimonials, case studies, and other customer-facing proof in partnership with customers and the US team.
• Represent the voice of the UK customer internally, sharing insights with Product, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Communications, and broader Marketing teams.
• Lean on the Sales Enablement and local teams for support, bringing in the right resources where available.

Lead UK field marketing and events

• Plan and execute UK field events, trade shows, customer roundtables, and executive programs end to end.
• Partner with Sales to define event objectives, target audiences, follow-up plans, and success measures.
• Work with regional partners, associations, and other third parties on relevant joint campaigns, events, and content.
• Help source and coordinate UK customer participation in references, events, roundtables, and other advocacy programs.

Manage resources and investment

• Manage the UK marketing budget and make efficient decisions about where to invest and where to reuse global resources.
• Work resourcefully across global and regional teams, building programs from the ground up and using available support effectively.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, technology, or enterprise software.
• Demonstrated success owning and executing regional or segment-level go-to-market plans that drive pipeline and revenue.
• Experience or ability to stretch and learn across multiple marketing disciplines, including product marketing, demand generation, field marketing or events, campaigns, content, customer marketing, or communications.
• A proven track record of leading this type of work effectively, with the judgment to apply prior learnings in a new market and operating environment.
• Excellent writing, communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex products into clear, compelling stories for UK audiences.
• Strong understanding of, or ability to learn, targeted inbound marketing, product marketing, localization, event execution, sales support, and performance measurement.
• Ability to collaborate with senior Sales leaders and cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Comfort with AI to generate and localise content 
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, strategic perspective.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous, startup-like environment and building programs from the ground up.
• Analytical mindset, with experience using Salesforce and marketing automation or similar tools to measure and optimize performance.
• Collaborative, resourceful, and action-oriented, with a high sense of ownership.
• Based in the UK, with the ability to work from the Motive London office three days per week and travel within the UK and EU for customer meetings and events, as well as occasionally to other markets.
