Sr. Manager, Quote-to-Cash Transformation

Role Overview 

We are seeking a hands-on transformation leader to redesign and scale the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process, with an initial focus on the journey from deal initiation through customer activation. 

You will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives that eliminate friction, standardize processes, strengthen governance, and embed automation across quoting, approvals, contracting, billing setup, and activation. The goal is to improve deal velocity, accuracy, predictability, and scalability as the business grows. 

This is a 0→1 and 1→n transformation role. You will assess the current state, define the target operating model and transformation roadmap, and drive implementation across processes, policies, systems, data, and ways of working. You will partner closely with Sales, Commercial Ops, Legal, Finance, GTM Ops, GTM Systems, Billing Engineering, and Billing Product. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead the transformation of the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, initially focusing on deal initiation, structuring, approval, contracting, billing setup, and customer activation. 

• Assess current-state processes, identify root causes of friction and rework, and define a scalable future-state operating model. 

• Develop and execute a prioritized transformation roadmap spanning processes, policies, systems, data, controls, and organizational responsibilities. 

• Redesign complex, fragmented, or manual workflows to improve speed, accuracy, automation, and the customer and seller experience. 
• Define and implement policies, governance frameworks, approval authorities, and deal guardrails that enable scale without unnecessarily slowing the business.
•  Partner with Sales and Commercial Ops to improve deal quality and enable first-time-right deal structuring. 
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance to simplify approvals, standardize contract terms, and maintain appropriate commercial and financial controls. 
• Work with GTM Systems to embed workflows, policies, data requirements, and controls into CRM, CPQ, contract management, and related tools. 

• Partner with Billing Engineering and Billing Product to create a reliable and increasingly automated flow from order form to billing and customer activation. 

• Standardize the handling of complex deal constructs, including usage-based pricing, multi-year agreements, ramp structures, prepayments, and custom commercial terms. 

• Establish clear ownership, handoffs, and service expectations across teams involved in the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. 

• Develop playbooks, guidance, and change-management programs that drive adoption of new processes and tools. 

• Establish transformation metrics and track improvements in cycle time, approval time, rework, policy adherence, billing accuracy, activation accuracy, and time-to-revenue. 

• Lead cross-functional programs from design through implementation, adoption, and measurable business impact.
