Sr Fullstack Engineer - Capacity & Matching Consultant - (remote - Brazil)

Inflect is engaging an independent Sr Fullstack Engineer - Capacity & Matching Consultant, engaged Rippling (acting as Contractor of Record), who will serve as the primary advisor for the Gateway and Capacity Matching cluster within the Intelligence Engine. This is an autonomous, high-impact consulting engagement focused on building and maintaining the full-stack matching-to-transaction spine, algorithmic confidence scoring, cost optimization logic, and gateway service infrastructure.

Working as an external subject matter expert, you will provide technical execution across the coupled Gateway and Capacity Matching surface while serving as cross-coverage backup owner for the RouteFinder and Site Prover cluster, ensuring core platform intelligence runs with high availability, accuracy, and automated resiliency.

Specialized Technical Capabilities Required

• Full-Stack Engineering Mastery: 7–10 years of professional full-stack engineering expertise, with deep production proficiency in Go (backend services) and React/TypeScript (frontend interfaces).
• Algorithmic & Gateway Architecture: Applied experience designing, building, and tuning algorithmic matching, ranking, scoring, or recommendation frameworks, combined with API gateway and integration-heavy backend architectures.
• Data & Cloud Substrate: Hands-on experience with relational databases (Postgres), cloud deployments (AWS), event-driven messaging, and integrating data pipelines.
• Cross-Border Async Collaboration: Fluent professional English communication skills for effective cross-border async collaboration, code reviews, and daily alignment across Brazil, Poland, and US time zones.

Scope of Services & Project Deliverables

• Gateway & Capacity Matching Delivery: Architect, build, and maintain Go-based backend services and React/TypeScript surfaces for Capacity Matching and the Inflect Gateway as one coupled surface.
• Algorithmic Engine Optimization: Evolve matching, confidence-scoring, and cost-optimization logic to satisfy rigorous precision and explainability requirements.
• Cross-Cluster Backup & Coverage: Serve as secondary owner and backup for the RouteFinder and Site Prover cluster, participating in cross-coverage, incident response support, and PR assessments.
• Cross-Pod & Data Integration: Partner with Data Foundation and Lead-to-Cash pods to ensure source-data quality alignments and seamless gateway transaction surface integrations.
• Technical Advisory & Quality Standards: Deliver well-tested, observable code and conduct pull-request assessments under the pod lead's technical direction.

Definition of Success (What Strong Performance on Projects Looks Like)

• Gateway and Capacity Matching features are independently shipped and operating reliably in production.
• Capacity Matching algorithms and gateway flows achieve strict performance and accuracy standards.
• Effective backup coverage and cross-support are established across RouteFinder and Site Prover clusters without single-point dependencies.
• The Gateway & Capacity Matching cluster is reliably owned and maintained end-to-end under pod technical standards.

Engagement Terms & Compliance Structure

• Contract Type: Fixed-rate monthly Independent B2B Service Agreement executed via Rippling at $6,500-$8,000/mo based on experience
• Invoicing & Tax Compliance: Contractor must maintain an active corporate entity (Pessoa Jurídica - PJ / CNPJ) in Brazil and upload valid electronic service invoices (Nota Fiscal de Serviços Eletrônica - NFS-e) into Rippling for monthly disbursement.
• Autonomy: Complete flexibility over work schedules, location, and execution methods necessary to fulfill project deliverables and agreed milestones; holds no direct people-management, hiring, or employee reporting lines.
• Commercial Relationship: Strictly B2B consulting engagement; no employment relationship under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), paid vacation, 13th salary, or statutory employee benefit guarantees implied.
