THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Senior Software Engineer will be pivotal to our company's success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing team in Mexico. We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers who can help realize Salesloft's vision with their passion and proven track record of excellence and innovation. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about their work and who thrive working on leading-edge cloud-based technologies to develop ground-breaking AI-driven enterprise-grade applications.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible to -

• Design and implement solutions to improve availability and resiliency of Salesloft's services
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and containerized environments using Terraform and Kubernetes, while developing automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and infrastructure deployments.
• Improve operational maturity by defining and implementing SLIs, SLOs, enable faster detection, and isolation of failures and proactively work to mitigate them
• Collaborate on sustainable incident response, retrospectives, and identifying opportunities to improve user experience

You will be responsible for building and managing critical third-party services in our software stack, influencing system design, building fault tolerance and disaster recovery capabilities, optimizing systems to improve efficiency. You will participate in implementation of integrating these services to solve large-scale problems, and ensure problem-free, reliable and efficient functioning of these components.

Salesloft's Infrastructure team builds systems and tools to enable engineering velocity in a reliable manner, partnering with engineering teams to establish standards, improve reliability, and increase cost-efficiency.

This is a great opportunity to make a massive impact on scaling cloud infrastructure to meet the high demand and rapid growth of both users and workload per user. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to define and design solutions that meet our business needs for availability, performance, and reliability.

THE SKILL SET:

• 5+ years of relevant experience building distributed systems on a public cloud (AWS, GCP)
• Proven DevOps & Cloud experience using Terraform | Kubernetes | CI/CD | Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Certifications: CKA or CKS (preferred)
• Foundation in software application design and system internals
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers to solve most complex technical problems. This involves mentoring, peer reviews, participating in technical design reviews
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
