Senior/Principal Product Manager, Video Generation (Roblox Reality)

The mission of the Foundation AI group is to enable Roblox Creators to accelerate their workflows and to put GenAI in the hands of millions of users. We envision a future in which experiences on Roblox leverage generative text and speech capabilities to enable new forms of interaction, generative 3D and 4D capabilities to enable new ways to create, and generative video to give creators a level of visual fidelity and motion that has never been available at this scale.

We shipped our 3D foundation model, which takes text prompts as input and generates production ready 3D objects and worlds. We are now building the Roblox Video Model; the Super Upsampler at the heart of Roblox Reality, our hybrid architecture that pairs the structured simulation of the Roblox Game Engine and Roblox Cloud with the photorealism of Video World Models. The engine stays the source of truth for the data model: state, physics, collision, logic, and multiplayer consistency. The video model generates the pixels: higher fidelity textures, realistic lighting, secondary motion, fluid dynamics, and the unscripted detail of a real world. A world model paired with our engine, enables persistent, multiplayer, photorealistic worlds that any creator can build and any player can join.

As the Senior/Principal Product Manager for Video Generation, your job is to put that in the hands of our community. You will take the Roblox Video Model out of the lab and into creator early access, then to a platform capability available to everyone, running on cloud edge GPU infrastructure, scaling toward tens of millions of concurrents, and keeping agency firmly with the creator. You will own the strategy and vision, define how creators direct and control the model.

You will:

• Build a vision and strategy for real-time video generation that delights creators and players and leads to industry-defining innovation in world models.
• Own the launch to our community — from lab demo, to creator early access, to scaled platform capability — and earn the trust of a community with real concerns about AI in creation by shipping in the open and proving the model serves them.
• Define the creator control surface: how creators condition, direct, and constrain the model so their game rules, art direction, and systems are never overridden.
• Deeply understand the model capabilities our creators need — temporal coherence, multiplayer consistency, avatar fidelity, prompt and style adherence — and shape the research roadmap against them.
• Develop comprehensive evaluation for our models, combining automated metrics with creator and player feedback, and own the quality, latency, and cost curve with research and infrastructure so this scales affordably.
• Work across the company — with engine, rendering, creator, safety, and economy — to make generated pixels safe, age-appropriate, and a core part of gameplay.
• Manage from vision through the product life cycle, prioritizing by working with creators and analyzing how our model is used, while providing insights to non-technical audiences and holding your own with world-class AI researchers.

You have:

• A track record of solving hard problems.
• Proven experience building, shipping, or supporting generative media products — video, image, or world models — or real-time rendering and graphics technology at scale.
• Experience productizing research: turning model capabilities into product and product signal back into research priorities, with fluency in the tradeoffs that define this space — quality, latency, inference cost, and compute.
• A deep understanding of the product life cycle and a history of collaborating with engineering teams and other stakeholders to deliver complex technical products on time.
• Experience shipping to large consumer or creator communities, ideally in gaming, UGC platforms, or creative tools.
• A Masters degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Graphics, 3D Animation, or Games Production, or a similar technical field.
• Passion for driving user-centric product decisions with an inclusive and strategic mindset, comfort in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment, and a high degree of independent drive.
