Senior Manager, Detection Ops & Threat Research Infrastructure

As a Senior Manager of Detection Ops & Threat Research Infrastructure, you will be tasked with leading the engineering organization that designs, builds, and operates the infrastructure powering SentinelOne's malware detection research, threat intelligence, and internal security tooling ecosystem. Your teams provide the high-scale sandboxing, live detection delivery, fleet management, researcher-facing tooling, and threat intelligence infrastructure that security researchers rely on to solve problems no one else has solved before. You will partner closely with detection engineering, threat research, AI/ML, and product teams to ensure researchers and engineers have reliable, secure, and scalable systems to research malware, validate detections, and ship protection to customers at scale.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead and grow multiple engineering teams each responsible for a critical piece from  SentinelOne's detection & threat research to the delivery pipeline.
• Own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of a diverse set of high-scale systems, including cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) sandboxing and malware execution environments, live security content delivery and fleet management pipelines, internal research tooling platforms, and threat intelligence infrastructure.
• Drive the integration of AI into our operations workflows, from accelerating threat research and detection validation to surfacing insights from threat intelligence data at scale.
• Oversee capacity planning, cost management, and technology decisions supporting high-scale, and integration-heavy systems.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

• 3 or more years of proven experience managing multiple engineering teams or managers, ideally in infrastructure, platform, or security engineering organizations.
• Experience in the cybersecurity field is required, experience specifically in endpoint security is strongly preferred.
• Experience with malware analysis, sandboxing platforms, or threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration platforms, operating infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and a track record of integrating them into engineering systems or workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with security researchers and engineers.
• Experience with EDR or XDR products and their telemetry is preferred.
• Comfort operating in environments with access to sensitive in-house data, numerous unique system integrations, and high-scale infrastructure.
