THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Senior Payroll Specialist will be pivotal to our company's success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Accounting team and will be our strategic business partner, working cross-functionally to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for our global employees. This individual will be a strategic contributor to our public-readiness journey, maintaining strong payroll internal control procedures. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will develop policies and a compliance framework that enable proper internal controls and efficiency, and you will play a significant role in implementing a third-party global payroll provider.

On a day-to-day basis, you will take ownership of developing, implementing, and maintaining best practices and procedures within the payroll process. Specifically, you will:

• Manage all aspects of payroll operations, including processing via our third-party provider for our global employees (across the USA, Mexico, UK, and India)
• Support the accounting team in ensuring all payroll transactions are reconciled to the correct departments and general ledger accounts
• Serve as the go-to person for all payroll inquiries from employees and business leaders
• Work closely with People Ops, FP&A, Accounting, and other business leaders to ensure the accuracy of payroll data
• Partner with the Director of Tax to stay current with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation regarding payroll compliance

You will be the company's primary point of contact for all payroll matters, including payroll policy, discrepancy investigation, and serving as liaison between employees and our third-party payroll processors. We are seeking a detail-oriented, extremely thorough, and diligent professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Senior Payroll Specialist will be a key member of the Accounting and Finance department and a critical part of the financial accounting and operations of the business. This individual will ensure the company's payroll is accurate, compliant, complete, and timely, working closely with People Operations, Financial Accounting, and our third-party payroll provider.

THE TEAM:

Our Salesloft Finance and Corporate Services team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming accounting professionals with strong analytical skills, ensuring timely and accurate records in accordance with company accounting policies and generally accepted accounting principles. THE SKILL SET:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of payroll administration experience in a fast-growing company/SaaS environment
• Workday payroll administration experience
• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Finely tuned customer service mindset
• Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized, with the ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Ability to act and operate independently
