Senior Benefits Program Manager, APJ

The Role

As the Senior Benefits Program Manager for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ), you will lead the regional design, strategy, and compliance of our benefit and wellness programs across 10+ countries, with a primary focus on India. Reporting to the Head of Global Benefits, you will navigate an evolving legislative landscape—including India’s Labor Codes and APJ statutory updates—to build scalable, competitive rewards. You will balance long-term strategic planning with operational excellence, serving as our regional subject matter expert to support international business growth.

What You’ll Do

• Regional Strategy & Legislative Governance: Lead end-to-end program design, evaluation, and statutory compliance across APJ, proactively translating complex regional legislative changes (e.g., India Labor Codes, data privacy, statutory leave, and pension updates) into risk-mitigated benefit policies.
• Benefits Renewals & Financial Partnership: Manage the full lifecycle of benefit program renewals across the region, partnering efficiently with Finance and Procurement on budgeting, contract execution, purchase orders, and monthly invoice processing/reconciliation.
• Shared Services & Operations Transition: Drive the operational transition of benefits processes from the Center of Excellence (COE) to Global Shared Services, establishing clear documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training programs for HR Operations to seamlessly take over day-to-day administration.
• Vendor & Financial Optimization: Own regional broker relationships, execute complex multi-country RFPs and contract negotiations, and lead long-term financial modeling, budgeting, and cost-impact analyses for health, welfare, and retirement plans.
• Process & Technology Architecture: Partner with HRIT, Payroll, and Finance to design, automate, and scale benefits administration workflows within Workday and local benefit platforms across the APJ region.
• Cross-Functional Executive Leadership: Formulate and present executive-level business cases and strategic benefit proposals to senior leadership, while serving as the primary escalation point for complex employee inquiries.

What You’ll Bring

• APJ Benefits & Statutory Expertise: Demonstrated experience owning and executing multi-country employee benefit programs across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region, including direct experience navigating India’s statutory compliance frameworks, retirement schemes, and health/risk benefits.
• Strategic Vendor & RFP Management: Proven experience managing regional broker relationships, leading end-to-end RFP processes, and negotiating multi-country vendor contracts and service level agreements.
• HR Systems & Operational Automation: Hands-on experience scaling benefits administration through enterprise HRIS (such as Workday) or local benefit administration tools, including building automated workflows and data controls.
• Executive Communication & Influence: Experience building data-driven business cases, presenting strategic rewards proposals to senior executive stakeholders, and partnering with cross-functional partners in Legal, Payroll, and Finance.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
