Job Description:
As a Pack Team Lead at Gotion Illinois, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for the production of battery packs within our battery factory. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating your team to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe production operations. This position requires strong leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills to maintain excellence in production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production personnel responsible for the assembly of battery packs.
- Production Oversight: Ensure that production processes are executed in accordance with quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of equipment, materials, and personnel to meet production targets.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures and inspect finished products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead the team in implementing improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, reports, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, to resolve technical issues and optimize production processes.
- Safety Leadership: Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a production leadership role, preferably in battery pack assembly.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to quality and a track record of driving process improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information:
- This is a 1st shift position. 1st shift is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
