So, what's the role all about?

As a Senior Full Stack Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, reliability, scalability, and performance of NICE's cloud and datacenter infrastructure. You will be responsible for administering and supporting complex production environments across AWS, Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and physical compute platforms.

Working as part of a highly skilled operations team, you will proactively monitor systems, resolve incidents, optimize infrastructure performance, and support business-critical services. This role combines cloud operations, systems engineering, infrastructure management, and datacenter support to ensure seamless service delivery and business continuity. 

How will you make an impact?

• Maintaining, monitoring, and supporting large-scale production infrastructure environments across cloud and datacenter platforms. 
• Administering AWS resources and services to ensure security, availability, and operational excellence. 
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving medium-to-high complexity infrastructure, operating system, and application issues.
• Managing Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, FTP, and related enterprise services. 
• Analysing operational metrics and implementing improvements to enhance platform stability, performance, and efficiency. 
• Supporting infrastructure lifecycle activities including server provisioning, patching, upgrades, resource sizing, and capacity management.
• Participating in an on-call rotation and communicating operational events, incidents, and resolutions to stakeholders and leadership teams. 
• Performing physical datacenter activities including cabling, racking, hardware maintenance, and vendor coordination when required. 
• Managing user access and identity services through AWS IAM and other enterprise user management platforms.
• Following NICE operational standards, security requirements, policies, procedures, and code of ethics.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale production infrastructure environments. 
• 5+ years of hands-on Windows Server administration experience in enterprise production environments. 
• 5+ years of experience configuring and supporting server hardware and operating systems.
• Strong experience managing and securing Linux servers, including RHEL, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux. 
• Experience performing Windows and Linux operating system patching and maintenance activities. 
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Domains, and DNS services.
• Experience operating within structured change management processes.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced production environments. 
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Experience supporting PCI-DSS and/or Cyber Essentials compliant environments.
• Experience with AWS EKS and ECS container platforms.
• Experience administering relational database environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience supporting SAN and NAS storage technologies. 
• Experience working with Okta identity and access management solutions.
• Experience coordinating hardware replacements and vendor-managed infrastructure activities.
• Experience administering Cisco UCS environments.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise AWS environments.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and other scripting languages used for automation and operational efficiency.
