Group Product Manager, Adyen APAC

As the Group Product Manager for Adyen APAC, you will be a pivotal member of the Adyen APAC Leadership Team. You will define and execute the product strategy for one of Adyen’s highest-growth regions across 7+ markets, ensuring our merchants can expand their reach through locally preferred and innovative payment methods.

This role sits within the global Payments Group. You will collaborate closely with the President, APAC, APAC Account Management, APAC Head of Engineering, Country heads and global product teams to build the payment engine of the future. You are not just a strategist; you act as the external face of Adyen’s holistic product innovation, engaging with regulators, industry bodies, and C-level executives at the leading merchants to shape the future of the APAC fintech landscape.

What you will do

• Drive APAC Product Vision & Go-To-Market: Formulate and own a bold strategic vision for the Adyen APAC Payments product across S.E Asia, Japan, Aus/NZ, HK among others. Partner closely with commercial teams to ensure our technical acquiring capabilities (e.g., Cards, Alternative payment methods) and global licenses solve real-world merchant pain points, maximize market fit, and deliver a seamless commercial experience.
• Lead and Scale the Product Team: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers focused on Adyen APAC, while fostering cross-team synergies and collaborating with global Adyen product groups.
• Ruthless Prioritization and Customer obsession: Able to think through the various APAC market needs, customer feedback and ruthlessly prioritize the product roadmap that delivers long term customer value. 
• Execute Cross-Functionally with End-to-End Ownership: Balance strategic leadership with a hands-on willingness to dive into details. Collaborate across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Sales to align resource planning, define clear priorities, and deliver highly scalable, high-performance features.
• Inspire Adyen APAC: Inspire the Adyen APAC team by communicating the bold vision and delivering product results against that vision. 

Who you are

• Seasoned Product Leader: 15+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale, including 5+ years of successfully building and leading, high-performing PM teams. Experience in the APAC fintech or financial services sector is preferred.
• Strategic & Cross-Functional Operator: Possess a "founder’s mentality," comfortably operating at the intersection of product, sales, and operations to translate complex merchant needs into a comprehensive, high-ROI product roadmap.
• Data-Driven Decision Maker: Ability to leverage data and analytics to guide cross-functional teams, make high-stakes trade-offs, and quantify the business value of localized offerings for the long-term health of Adyen’s merchants.
• Organizational Multiplier: Proven autonomy in delivering impact by driving strategy across a broad portfolio of product areas and collaborating with other leaders to scale impactful ways of working.
• Bar raiser for the team: Able to lead the team across multiple offices and cultures in APAC. Inspiring leader that attracts talent, raises the bar on product management at Adyen and inspires the broader APAC Adyen community.  
• Action-Oriented Communicator: A relentless bias toward action in a fast-paced environment, paired with inspiring communication skills to align and influence internal teams, external stakeholders, and the Adyen APAC business.
