End User Computing Engineer

Your future role within QRT 

As an End User Computing Engineer, you will provide regional engineering expertise while reporting into QRT’s Global Engineering Team. 

You will help design, build and improve the Windows services used across QRT, focusing on Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Group Policy, Citrix DaaS and automation. Working with colleagues across APAC and the wider global team, you will ensure our users receive a secure, consistent and high-performing experience across physical and virtual desktops. 

Responsibilities 

• Engineer and maintain enterprise Windows 11 environments across physical and virtual platforms. 
• Design and manage Windows Autopilot provisioning and device deployment processes. 
• Manage device configuration, security, compliance and application deployment through Microsoft Intune and Group Policy. 
• Support and optimise Citrix DaaS, including image management, logon performance and user experience. 
• Engineer workspace management, profile management and user environment personalisation solutions. 
• Develop PowerShell automation for provisioning, application deployment, health checks and remediation. 
• Own endpoint lifecycle processes from initial provisioning through to patching and decommissioning. 
• Act as the regional engineering escalation point for complex or business-critical EUC issues. 
• Produce reporting for endpoint health, patching, BitLocker and security compliance. 
• Contribute to global endpoint standards and engineering projects. 
• Some travel to other APAC offices may be required 

Your experience 

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot in an enterprise environment. 
• Strong experience engineering and supporting enterprise Windows 10/11 environments. 
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills. 
• Experience supporting Citrix DaaS, VDI or a comparable virtual desktop platform. 
• Experience designing and managing Group Policy. 
• Experience with workspace management, profile management and user personalisation technologies. 
• Good understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication and hybrid identity. 
• Experience with endpoint security, patching and application deployment. 
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. 
• The ability to work independently in APAC while contributing effectively to a global team. 
• Experience with Microsoft 365, PKI or infrastructure-as-code tooling would be beneficial.
