Early Career & University Relations Recruiter

The Early Career & University Relations Recruiter will own the strategy and execution of Path Robotics’ early talent programs, building strong pipelines of emerging engineering and technical talent to support our continued growth.

In partnership with the Manager, Talent Acquisition this role will identify the universities, programs, and relationships that can become long-term sources of exceptional talent for Path. 

What You’ll Do

University Relations & Partnerships

• Develop a focused strategy for Path’s target universities and technical programs, prioritizing schools with strong robotics, AI/ML, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and related programs.
• Build long-term relationships with professors, research labs, faculty, career centers, student organizations, and engineering organizations.
• Develop campus engagement strategies including career fairs, technical talks, research partnerships, student events, lab engagement, and engineering leader involvement.
• Identify creative opportunities for Path engineers and technical leaders to build meaningful relationships with students and faculty.
• Build relationships that extend beyond recruiting and position Path as a destination for top robotics and AI talent.

Recruiting & Candidate Experience

• Own end-to-end recruiting for interns, co-ops, and early career hires, from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Proactively identify and engage high-potential students rather than relying solely on inbound applications and career fairs.
• Build talent communities and pipelines ahead of hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop efficient and consistent evaluation processes for early career talent.
• Deliver a candidate experience that reflects Path’s fast-moving, collaborative, and highly technical culture.

Internship & Early Talent Experience

• Build and manage a structured internship and co-op program that gives students meaningful, high-impact work.
• Partner with managers to define projects, mentorship, expectations, and success measures before interns join.
• Create programming that exposes early talent to Path’s technology, leadership, and broader business.
• Own the intern and co-op conversion strategy, identifying high performers early and creating pathways into full-time opportunities.
• Continuously gather feedback from interns and managers to improve the program.

Employer Brand & Talent Market Presence

• Build Path’s presence within the university, robotics, AI, and engineering communities.
• Partner with Marketing and technical leaders to develop compelling content and campaigns highlighting Path’s technology, people, and engineering challenges.
• Create opportunities for Path employees to serve as technical ambassadors through speaking engagements, university events, research communities, and student organizations.
• Develop creative ways to differentiate Path from larger technology and robotics companies competing for the same talent.
• Measure the effectiveness of events, partnerships, sponsorships, and other university investments.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in university recruiting, early careers, university relations, or technical talent programs.
• Experience building or significantly scaling an early careers or university recruiting program.
• Demonstrated success developing relationships with universities, faculty, research labs, career centers, and student organizations.
• Experience recruiting technical talent, ideally across robotics, AI/ML, software, hardware, or engineering.
• Strong program management skills with the ability to take an initiative from strategy through hands-on execution.
• Experience using recruiting data and market insights to determine where to invest time and resources.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner with technical leaders.
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment where programs are still being built and priorities can move quickly.
• Willingness to travel to universities, conferences, and recruiting events as needed
