The Role

We are expanding our reach in categories like Shoes, Handbags, Swim, Jewelry, and more — and we're looking for a forward-thinking, hands-on Director of Production, Product Innovation to lead the charge in evolving how we source, produce, and deliver these products. The Director of Production, Accessories will build and scale a high-performing production operation for these categories, from bulk material commitments through factory execution to receipt and quality inspection at our distribution center. This leader will drive operational excellence across multiple product categories and countries, while ensuring flexibility and resilience in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

This role will be instrumental in operationalizing innovation — translating design and development intent into efficient, sustainable, and scalable supply chain execution.

Work Location: NYC-based; Hybrid, 4 days in office

What You'll Do

• Own production across Shoes, Handbags, Swim, Jewelry, and emerging categories, from bulk material commitments through DC receiving and quality inspection
• Lead and develop a production team spanning production management and vendor execution
• Lead vendor strategy across a global network of finished goods partners; manage relationships and performance, and hold partners to cost, quality, and delivery commitments
• Drive supplier diversification efforts to support flexibility, risk mitigation, and innovation across all product categories
• Own bulk raw material commitments and hold material suppliers to Reformation's standards for environmental responsibility, quality, and on-time delivery
• Partner with Product Development and Design to bring new sustainable materials into production at scale, supporting Reformation's sustainability and circularity goals
• Partner with Supply Chain Operations, Product Development, Design, Planning, Merchandising, Distribution, Wholesale, and Marketing to turn creative intent into production plans that deliver on time
• Own on-time delivery, cost, and quality across all categories, from PO placement to DC receipt.
• Run the operating rhythm with factory partners, working with Supply Chain Operations on the reporting and tools that keep vendors and internal teams aligned on one shared source of truth
• Oversee capacity planning, raw material commitments, and production calendars in partnership with cross-functional teams
• Travel internationally to key factory and material partners

Who You Are:

• A production leader with 8-10 years of experience in sourcing and production — preferably within footwear and fashion accessories
• Deep knowledge of footwear, accessories, or multi-category product supply chains
• Proven track record of building and managing international vendor networks, with expertise in supplier diversification strategies
• Experience leading teams and developing talent within complex, fast-paced environments
• Passionate about sustainability, circular systems, and future-forward materials innovation
• Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative and technical teams, and translating innovation into action
• Willing and able to travel internationally as business needs dictate

Compensation:

At Reformation, we believe in transparency and equity when it comes to compensation. For this role, the anticipated base range is $135,000 - $170,000  + 15% eligibility, depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity.

This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a range of factors, including company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company’s discretion.
