Job Overview:

We are looking for a Digital Marketer to join our small and agile UK team, reporting to the Growth Director. You will work across both brands with day-to-day ownership of two key channels: Your primary channel will be Email & CRM. Planning, designing, building, and sending campaigns and automated flows. Your secondary channel will be Organic content – writing SEO-optimised copy for the websites and supporting our visibility in traditional and AI-powered search. You won’t be expected to run paid media campaigns, but you will need a good understanding of how PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliates work so you can contribute to wider marketing discussions and ensure your channels are coordinated with the broader plan.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Email & CRM

• Own and manage the promotional calendar across both brands, coordinating campaign timing, offers, and messaging to ensure a consistent and well-planned trading rhythm throughout the year.
• Plan, design, build, and send email campaigns across both brands, including promotional sends, product launches, and seasonal activity.
• Manage automated CRM flows: welcome series, abandoned cart/browse, post-purchase, and win-back sequences.
• Design visually engaging, on-brand email templates with strong attention to layout, imagery, and copy.
• Segment audiences and personalise messaging to improve engagement and conversion.
• Report on email performance (open rates, CTR, revenue per send, list growth, deliverability) and act on the data to improve results.
• Keep up to date with email best practice, including deliverability, accessibility, and dark mode rendering.

Organic, SEO & Content

• Write and publish SEO-optimised content for both websites: blog posts, buying guides, landing pages, and product copy.
• Identify keyword opportunities and content gaps to support organic growth.
• Write content with an awareness of how AI and LLM-powered search experiences (e.g. Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) surface and reference brand content.
• Monitor organic performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and tools such as SEMrush.

General

• Coordinate email and content activity with the wider marketing calendar and any paid campaigns.
• Support the Growth Director with ad hoc tasks, competitor research, and reporting as needed.
• Ensure all work is consistent with each brand’s positioning (Nectar as accessible value; DreamCloud as premium luxury).
• Presenting to key stakeholders regularly.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years in digital marketing within a fast-paced DTC, e-commerce, retail, or agency environment; sleep, home, or lifestyle sector experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a similar email/CRM platform, including template design, segmentation, and automation, with a strong eye for polished email design; basic HTML/CSS a plus
• Strong copywriting skills and working knowledge of SEO (on-page optimisation, keyword research, content planning); SEMrush experience and an interest in AI/LLM search a plus
• Understanding of how PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliate connect with email and organic channels
• Comfortable with GA4 and Google Search Console; Shopify/Shopify Plus experience preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail across copy, design, and data
• Proactive adopter of new tools and technology
• Confident presenting to cross-functional stakeholders
• Self-motivated and organised, able to manage your own workload remotely
• Fluent written and spoken English

Compensation
The salary range for this position is £30,000 - £40,000. Where an individual is placed within this range is determined by objective, job-related criteria, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience, which are applied consistently to all candidates. [This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus or commission payments.]
