Designer Advocate (Berlin, Germany)

At Figma, we're building a vibrant community where designers and product builders come together to learn, grow, and connect around their shared passion. Our Advocacy team is central to this mission—empowering our users through engaging content, meaningful interactions, and genuine advocacy.

We're looking for a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You'll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You'll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution.

You'll be covering the DACH region, where our main languages are German and Polish. Being fluent in either/both of these languages is pretty much a plus!

This is a full time, hybrid role based out of our Berlin hub.

What you'll do at Figma:

• Empower users at scale: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows
• Create compelling content: Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems
• Inspire community connections: Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives
• Speak and engage at events: Regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work
• Champion user voices: Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends—advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Deep, hands-on Figma expertise and an entrepreneurial drive, with experience embedding Figma in real product teams and taking ideas from early exploration to polished, impactful outcomes
• A thorough understanding of modern product design workflows, development environments, design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping
• Strong technical design skills, including experience working alongside developers or building tools that support design systems, and an understanding of how design decisions translate into development at scale
• Clear, compelling communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex workflows and systems, speak publicly, and engage large audiences
• A passion for contributing to the design community and a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to connect with it in person

While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:

• Fluency in German or Polish
