Job Title: Stroke Consultant
Grade: Consultant
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Working Hours: 40 hours plus 1:7 weekdays and weekends on call
Rate: £130 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stroke Consultant to join our client’s dynamic team in Norwich, Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing exceptional care to stroke patients. If you are passionate about making a difference and have a strong background in stroke management, we would love to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities:

You will play a pivotal role in the assessment and management of stroke patients. You will lead the delivery of emergency care and oversee both inpatient and outpatient services. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership to continuously develop stroke services, implementing national initiatives to improve stroke care, and actively participating in clinical governance, audit, and research. Additionally, you will be involved in teaching and training multidisciplinary professionals, stroke team members, and medical students, ensuring the highest clinical standards in patient management. Your expertise and dedication will be crucial in driving excellence in stroke care and making a significant impact on patient outcomes. 

Requirements:

• Registered with the General Medicine Council (GMC) is essential
• Must be on the Specialist Registrar 
• Relevant NHS experience working as a Stroke Consultant
