Role Description
Role purpose
Provide central quality assurance and constructive challenge for Value Stream acceptance criteria, UAT coverage and evidence across business-process, product, client-servicing and migration-related BRT scenarios. The role will not replace Value Stream SMEs. Instead, it will ensure that their acceptance criteria and evidence are sufficiently complete, clear, risk-based and relevant to end-to-end business readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Own relevant Central scenarios
- Review and quality-assure acceptance criteria created or co-created by Value Stream SMEs;
- Check that criteria cover the complete business outcome rather than only individual system functions;
- Challenge missing:
- Process steps
- Business hand-offs
- Impacted departments
- Client outcomes
- Exceptions and reversals
- Migration and coexistence conditions
- Controls and reconciliations
- Review Value Stream LIAT evidence and assess whether it provides credible BRT coverage;
- Identify gaps, assumptions, dependencies and scope limitations;
- Coordinate cross-value Stream workshops and coverage-challenge sessions;
- Recommend whether residual gaps require:
- Additional evidence
- Targeted BRT
- A mitigating control
- Scope removal
- Formal risk acceptance
- Support the design of targeted BRT storyboards;
- Prepare scenario-level readiness conclusions for central governance.
Skills and Expertise
Essential skills and experience
- Experience in banking transformation, migration or operational readiness;
- Broad knowledge of corporate or wholesale banking processes;
- Practical understanding of migration, cutover and coexistence impacts;
- Ability to understand end-to-end business processes across multiple Value Streams;
- Experience reviewing acceptance criteria, test coverage and business evidence;
- Ability to identify when criteria are ambiguous, incomplete or not sufficiently evidence-based;
- Confidence to challenge Value Stream SMEs constructively;
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder-management skills;
- Clear and concise written communication;
- Fluency in German and English.
Priority domain knowledge
- Migration, cutover and coexistence;
- Corporate banking client servicing;
- Payments and operational processing;
- Operational resilience and recovery;
- Detailed expertise in every product is not required. The role must be able to recognise where specialist knowledge is needed and coordinate the appropriate Value Stream SME.
