Business Consultant (6 months contract with possible extension)

Bloomreach is looking for a Business Consultant! If you want to help top e-commerce businesses boost their performance, serve clients and get experience globally and have immediate, tangible results, join our Professional Services team as a Senior Business Consultant.

As a Business Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver value to Bloomreach’s clients by deploying and utilizing the Engagement Platform effectively. You will support clients during the implementation phase by gathering business requirements, preparing data structures, managing data migration processes and deploying automated programs. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic advisor on e-commerce, analytics, data management, digital marketing, marketing automation and email and mobile technologies.

Building strong client relationships is crucial. You will continuously enhance their businesses, maximize platform utilization, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI). Collaborating with Customer Success Managers, you will develop business strategies and roadmaps aligned with each client’s goals and metrics.

You will develop a robust understanding of the Engagement Platform. Becoming an expert in the platform empowers you to guide clients and internal stakeholders effectively. Your responsibilities in client onboarding, platform adoption and feature utilization are crucial. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance product-focused services and drive process improvements is essential for success.

We are currently allowing flexibility for our employees to work from anywhere for the respective region (Czechia or Slovakia) or we are happy to meet you in our offices in Bratislava (Slovakia) or Brno, Prague (Czechia) on a full-time basis.

What you’ll do:

• Become a SME on the Bloomreach Engagement platform
• Provide leadership and guidance to the business consultancy practice in the DACH, Nordics, UK or Benelux regions. 
• Support clients in bringing continuous improvement to their sites, shops or apps (audit web pages and online shops; design, manage and evaluate AB tests; propose changes to enhance customer experience and raise conversion rates)
• Communicate with clients, teach them how to use the CDP platform, suggest improvements to their products, prepare reports for their business decisions and project evaluation
• Oversee implementation of a client’s applications, websites or online shops
• Communicate regularly with clients through online channels and on-site visits
• Utilize AI tools to increase efficiency in your and customer's day to day work

Core skills and experience required for the role:

• Customer facing experience: You have some experience in B2B and/or B2C as a vendor, an agency, in-house eCommerce, or working in a SaaS or consultancy in a customer-facing role.
• Ownership, self-organisation and ability to navigate ambiguous situations: You can independently structure your work, manage multiple customer initiatives and make progress even when the path forward is not fully defined.
• Consulting mindset: you’re comfortable challenging assumptions, asking the right questions and acting as a trusted advisor rather than simply executing customer requests.
• Curiosity and a growth mindset. A genuine willingness to learn matters more to us than years on a CV.
• Stakeholder and relationship management: you can build credibility with customers and colleagues and manage different perspectives and create alignment around next steps
• English language business proficiency

Skills and experience that would be a strong advantage but are not required:

• AI enthusiasm is a strong advantage. This role is evolving fast with AI, and hands-on experience with LLMs, AI Agents or MCPs will set you apart.
• Working knowledge of a marketing technology or customer engagement platform: Bloomreach Engagement, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Adobe, Braze, Emarsys, or similar.
• Fluency in German or a Nordic language would be a strong advantage alongside English.
• Industry or vertical expertise that enables you to bring relevant benchmarks, best practices and a strong point of view to customer conversations.
• Background in performance marketing, CRM manager or any experience with online analytics, marketing automation, personalization, campaigns, and similar
• Technical experience with APIs, SQL, HTML, JavaScript or similar technologies, allowing you to explore data, understand integrations or prototype solutions independently.

The base salary range for this position is €26,000. The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above.
