We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality therapy services within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work closely with patients and the multidisciplinary team to assist in the rehabilitation process, focusing on major trauma orthopaedics, plastics, and neurotrauma. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

What will your responsibilities be: 

As a Band 3 Therapy Assistant, the role involves supporting patients in joint and independent exercises, functional tasks, and rehabilitation activities. Assisting in the management of equipment and splinting, ensuring all tools and devices are used safely and effectively, is essential. Duties include preparing treatment areas, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Collaboration with therapists to implement individualised care plans and contributing to the overall efficiency of the therapy team is also required.
