• The minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is from € 3,300. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role. Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support your client's data-platform delivery in a regulated financial services environment. You will shape the architecture connecting priority sources to a governed Azure foundation, transforming data into the UI Enterprise Data Model and enabling reusable data products for APIs, Power BI, analytics and AI. You will combine target-state architecture with hands-on delivery, guide engineers and establish governance, integration and operational patterns.

• Act as the bridge between business, IT, Risk Management / Compliance and engineering to translate AI use cases and functional / non-functional requirements into scalable, secure and governed architectures
• Design target architectures and reusable patterns for agentic AI, including memory, tools / skills, data access and integration with your client's governed data platform
• Design and oversee AI / MLOps lifecycle capabilities, including monitoring, tracing, evaluation, operational readiness and controlled transition into production
• Define and guide API-first and MCP-based integration patterns, including secure access to data and services through the project's API / MCP gateway
• Jointly with Risk Management / Compliance, evolve AI governance, risk, security and guardrail requirements for agentic AI and high-impact use cases
• Support enablement of Microsoft Copilot Cowork, Agent Mode, Agent Builder and Copilot Studio in line with the target architecture and governance framework

Skills and Expertise

• You can translate ambiguous business needs into target architectures, roadmaps and implementation requirements and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• You have several years of experience in the architecture and delivery of AI solutions in financial services; experience with Asset Management / Investment Banking is preferred
• You have strong practical understanding of Azure AI Foundry and Databricks and how governed data platforms support AI, analytics and agentic use cases
• You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot capabilities including Cowork, Agent Mode, Agent Builder, Copilot Studio and Power BI
• You understand agentic AI architecture patterns, AI / MLOps lifecycle requirements, monitoring and evaluation, and the transition of AI solutions into controlled operations
• You have experience with MCP / API-first development practices and designing secure integrations between AI services, data products and enterprise applications
• You understand AI governance, risk, guardrails, access control and data-protection considerations for high-impact use cases; familiarity with Okta and Microsoft Purview is advantageous
• Fluency English (German is a big advantage)
