Accounts Specialist

THE ROLE 

As Podium’s Accounts Specialist, you will be reporting into our Staff Accountant and working with a dynamic, global team assisting both the Melbourne and Utah office. Tasks will include accounts receivable, billing and collections and you may also assist in month end tasks which would involve some accounts payable. Being a part of our newest finance team means there is room for opportunity. We offer plenty of growth at Podium along with all the support you need to be successful in your role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the Melbourne, Australia Podium office locations
• Perform accounts receivable functions, including preparing and amending customer invoices and communicating with customers regarding past due invoices
• Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure accuracy of customer billing
• Validate inputs to ensure system integrity 
• Assist in month end process by giving input to other members of the accounting team
• Assist with preparation of schedules for financial statement audit
• Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required
• Assist with other accounting/finance projects as necessary
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• MUST SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY
• Must be geographically based in Lahore, Pakistan
• Must be available to work onsite at our Lahore office location
• 1+ years related accounting experience or bachelor’s degree preferred
• SaaS industry experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Eager, quick learner with strong teamwork spirit
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Zuora preferred
