Senior Data Engineering Manager

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineering Manager to join our growing Finance Data Engineering team within the Data Engineering department. Key Responsibilities Leadership: Hire, coach, mentor, and provide career development for a team of data engineers. Technical Guidance: Provide deep technical expertise in data engineering within a scalable ecosystem. Engineering Excellence: Drive cultural and process improvements to elevate quality and efficiency. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Teams, Data Science, and Analytics Platform) to foster a collaborative culture. Experience: 6–8+ years in a software development role (Individual Contributor). 4+ years of people management experience leading agile teams. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL . Experience with cloud stacks: AWS, S3, Databricks, Spark/Spark Streaming, graph databases, dbt . Knowledge of enterprise data architectural standards, dimensional modeling, test automation, and continuous delivery. Education: Graduate degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Building RESTful APIs and microservices. Experience with Tableau . Knowledge of Machine Learning. Contributions to open-source projects.
