What you’ll do As databases are the foundation of a financial company's operation, database administrator is a critical role. You will be responsible for supporting the database development of the company's core business, resolving and optimizing database issues across our global operations. This role requires exceptional technical expertise and a strong problem-solving ability. Joining the team would provide you ample opportunities to demonstrate your talents and advance your career. Address: Units 1006, Partners Tower, 83 Gasan digital 1-ro, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 08589 서울 금천구 가산디지털1로 83, 1006 호(가산동, 파트너스타워) Responsibilities: Use Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud, etc. to build, maintain, and optimize the database environment of the company's cross-border payment products. Write automated scripts and programs to complete the configuration and management of database instances and tables, and continuously improve the level of automation. Plan and maintain database backup, recovery, and governance to ensure reliable and secure operation of the database. Formulate database table construction and usage specifications, and participate in the design, formulation, and review of storage methods and storage structures of various types of data, so that data reading and writing are reliable and efficient. Research and design database monitoring systems and middleware, provide rapid positioning capabilities for performance issues, and ensure database consistency and high availability. Research and introduce new technologies according to business needs, and continuously improve the operating efficiency and service capabilities of the database system. Actively communicate with various business departments to promote the implementation of database specifications, and design reasonable database architectures and solutions according to business needs to meet the database's support for business development. Who you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. More than 4 years of experience in the database field of the Internet industry, managed large clusters, and proficient in the design and implementation of relational databases. Proficient in PostgreSQL high availability and cluster management, familiar with its synchronization and storage mechanisms, and familiar with the management and maintenance of pgpool-II middleware. Proficient in Redis/Redis Cluster management and best practices. Familiar with the writing of common commands and shell scripts in Linux systems, familiar with at least one programming language, and have certain development capabilities. Strong ability to analyze and solve problems, with a rigorous attitude and sense of responsibility. Good learning ability and communication skills, with experience in small and medium-sized project management. Preferred qualifications: Experience in operation and maintenance management of multiple database centers and distributed databases. Experience in interaction and management of Kafka/Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL. Experience in database optimization on SSD. Experience in database container management. Experience in programming Ansible/Puppet/Salt/Terraform.
