As Senior Accounting Specialist , you'll provide hands-on support across the Accounting function, stepping in wherever needed to ensure timely task completion while continuously reviewing and improving the processes behind it. Your work will span revenue and cost accounting, general ledger activities, fixed asset accounting, tax reviews, and validating financial calculations for accuracy and compliance. Connect with your team: Viktorija Dzenkauskiene, Head of Accounting Your day-to-day Provide hands-on support across accounting teams, resolving new, complex, and ad-hoc accounting matters. Drive AI-powered process improvements by automating manual work and ensuring the quality of AI-generated outputs. Prepare, analyze, and report financial data to support business decision-making. Support cross-functional finance projects, including CAPEX calculation & analyses, tax forecasting, and other ad-hoc initiatives. Improve finance processes and user experience across billing, payments, invoice approvals, reimbursements, and other finance workflows. Review accounting processes and calculations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency. Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Partner with Finance teams to provide accounting expertise and support continuous process improvement. Your expertise and experience A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. 3+ years experience in a finance and/or controlling function. Knowledge of IFRS or capability to research, understand, and apply where needed. Strong sense of ownership and commitment. Excellent organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical skills. Great communication and stakeholder management skills to keep regular interaction with senior-level executives and other parties, both written and verbal. Team player with a proactive mindset, adaptable, and willing to learn. Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent spoken and written English skills. Meet your team The Accounts Payable team plays an important role in keeping Hostinger’s financial operations running smoothly. Beyond day-to-day accounting, we maintain strong financial controls, manage vendor relationships, support healthy cash flow and payment terms, and actively identify financial and operational risks before they impact the business. We work closely with FP&A, Procurement, Legal, Business Operations, Risk, and other teams across Hostinger. These partnerships help ensure supplier processes are efficient, contracts and payment terms are properly managed, spending is accurately reflected in financial planning, and potential risks are identified and addressed. AP also acts as an important link between Hostinger and its vendors, helping maintain reliable and professional supplier relationships.
