Technical Product Owner (m/w/d)

Your mission You want to do more than just contribute ideas — you want to actively shape a software product from the first concept through to release? As Product Owner at Relution, you take responsibility for the continued development of our “Made in Germany” UEM and MDM platform. You will work closely with customers, Engineering, UX, Sales and Management. You understand requirements, challenge assumptions and work with the team to turn real problems into meaningful product solutions. You monitor the UEM and MDM market, analyse competitors and technology trends, and contribute insights to our product strategy and roadmap You gather and evaluate requirements from customers across education, public sector, healthcare and enterprise, as well as from partners, Sales and Management You prioritise topics based on customer value, strategic relevance and effort, and take ownership of the product backlog for your areas You challenge requirements, identify the underlying problem and work with UX and Engineering to develop the right solution You translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria and support implementation from concept through to release You work closely with our development teams in a technically demanding environment covering Apple, Android Enterprise and Windows You work on topics such as device management, enterprise app management, security, identity, APIs and platform integrations You collect feedback on new functionality and continuously improve existing features You represent Relution as a product expert in customer and partner discussions, at trade fairs, webinars and training sessions For complex functional or technical topics, you support the wider team and ensure that relevant insights feed back into the product Your Course You have several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a comparable role for a software product You understand technical concepts, can discuss them with developers on an equal footing and are able to explain complex topics clearly and concisely You combine technical understanding with a strong business mindset and want to take responsibility for a successful B2B software product You are able to structure and prioritise requirements and are comfortable making clear decisions about what should — and should not — be built Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Enterprise Mobility, IT security or comparable B2B software products is a strong advantage — but not a requirement A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field is beneficial — but your experience, product mindset and technical curiosity matter more to us You communicate clearly, enjoy working across different teams and take ownership of your topics Very good German and good English skills complete your profile Your profile You are given responsibility and the freedom to make your own decisions We work closely together and value direct communication over lengthy coordination processes We want you to challenge requirements rather than simply accept them and help us find the best solution for the product We continuously improve our processes instead of simply maintaining them You do not need to meet every requirement from day one — willingness to learn and technical curiosity matter just as much as experience What´s important to us The ability to work independently as part of a team that supports you rather than leaving you on your own Open communication instead of lengthy coordination loops A desire to question processes and improve them rather than just managing them Apply even if you don’t meet all the criteria 100% – a willingness to learn counts just as much as experience to us Why us?
