Senior QA Manager - Fully Remote

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior QA Manager to join our talented and passionate team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every release meets the highest quality standards, from early concept to global launch. As the quality owner for one of our largest mobile puzzle games, you’ll drive release quality, establish scalable QA processes, push test automation forward, and work closely with developers, product managers, and external QA partners to deliver a world-class player experience. *Qualified Candidates are expected to complete an Assignment *For this position the candidate should be based in European Union Your Role: Ensure high-quality releases through effective test planning, execution, regression testing, and staged rollout support Define practical QA coverage for devices, OS versions, store builds, SDKs, ads, IAPs, analytics, and remote config Identify, prioritize, and document issues with clear, actionable bug reports Drive QA automation and continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and external QA partners Monitor live quality, investigate crashes, ANRs, performance issues, and prevent regressions Provide clear release readiness assessments and go/no-go recommendations Maintain test documentation, release reports, and changelogs in Jira & Confluence Champion a quality-first mindset across the team Your profile: Mobile or instant games as your primary QA domain for 5+ years, ideally on live-operated F2P titles Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Hands-on experience with IAP flows, ad mediation, ATT/consent frameworks, and attribution SDKs Experience with QA automation, Unity games, and modern QA tools and workflows Experience with crash reporting and monitoring tools (e.g. Firebase, Crashlytics, DataDog), and strong understanding of mobile stability issues: crashes, ANRs, and freezes Proven experience building or owning a mobile QA automation framework (e.g. Appium, Unity Test Framework) Strong understanding of mobile game telemetry, analytics validation, and event tracking Experience working with external QA vendors or distributed QA teams Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and modern AI tools to improve testing, documentation, and QA efficiency Strong analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills Highly organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional player experiences Benefits: SOFTGAMES offers a competitive package, including: Remote-first, your way — Work fully remote from wherever you do your best work, or drop into our modern Berlin office whenever you like.
