(Senior) Operations Engineer - Charging Network (f/m/x)

Your mission IONITY is building the backbone of electric mobility in Europe. Founded by leading automotive manufacturers, we operate Europe's largest high-power charging network across 24 countries, enabling seamless long-distance travel for EV drivers. With thousands of charging points already in operation and significant expansion ahead, IONITY is evolving beyond charging infrastructure into a broader mobility, energy and digital platform. As a (Senior) Operations Engineer, you keep that network running. You're the technical backbone of our Operations team: analysing and resolving issues across chargers, backend systems and communication, steering the external partners who maintain our sites, and making sure our monitoring gives us a full picture of network health. When something goes wrong anywhere across our network, you're the person who works out why and makes sure it doesn't happen again. This is a hands-on technical role with real scope to shape how we operate at scale. As the network grows, so does the need for sharper processes, better tooling and knowledge that's shared rather than siloed, and you'll drive all three. Your responsibilities: Ensure high availability and quality of IONITY HPC network Ensure effficient operations processes Support IONITY Operations with technical analysis and problem solving for the IONITY Network Provide learnings, insights and how to’s concerning troubleshooting of IONITY’s HPC Network towards the IONITY team and external support Steering of external partners for operating IONITY's HPC Network Ensure 360°-Monitoring of IONITY HPC Network (Backend-systems, Hardware & Communication) Your profile Education as engineer or very experienced technician (preferred Electrotechnical or IT background) Experience in operating and analyzing charging infrastructure or comparable technology/networks High level of knowledge concerning charging infrastructure/charging technology Experience in remote analysis and resolution of technical issues via remote access Good Level of knowledge concerning IT-Systems and communication technology, Very good technical analyzing skills, High competency in sharing knowledge, Strong communication skills in English Professional experience in escalation management & SLA-tracking You are the right person for this job if: You have huge interest in technology and affinity for IT tools You are dedicated to process improvement and have proper process management skills You are a team player and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere with fun at work You are experienced in Project management and introduction of IT Tools You have experience with backends, ticket tools, asset management tools, etc. You like to manage and track Network related SLA with partners and suppliers You have very good written and spoken English language skills Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
