The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Pricing & Revenue Optimization , to join our Data Science & Analytics team as a strategic partner and technical expert. In this role, you will steer our pricing strategy and commercial analytics function, translating complex data into actionable business insights that directly impact revenue and profitability. You will work collaboratively on high-impact projects and partner with senior leadership to shape data-driven commercial decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the pricing tool used by the commercial department Develop and optimize end-to-end pricing strategies, including algorithm development, implementation, and continuous performance monitoring Design and execute complex pricing experiments and A/B tests, analyzing results and providing strategic recommendations to leadership Build and maintain sophisticated pricing models and algorithms using advanced analytical techniques Generate commercial insights by conducting deep-dive analyses on pricing elasticity, customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive positioning Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Operations, and Finance to identify opportunities and solve complex business challenges Create and automate reporting frameworks and dashboards to enable self-service analytics across the organization Establish best practices for pricing analytics, experimentation, and commercial decision-making Stay current with industry trends in pricing optimization, e-commerce analytics, and circular economy business models Requirements: Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, pricing, or related analytical roles, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace environments Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/Kotlin, as well as other programming language, are a plus Experience designing and executing A/B tests and experiments with measurable business impact Solid statistical knowledge Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations Effective stakeholder management skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and commercial awareness Motivated and organized, thriving in dynamic environments Preferred: Experience with pricing algorithms, dynamic pricing, or revenue management systems Knowledge of causal inference methods and advanced experimental design Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) Experience in sustainability-focused or circular economy businesses Understanding of marketplace or two-sided platform dynamics Location: Berlin Hybrid model (Must be willing to work from the office at least 2 days a week) Purpose, a great company culture and incredible benefits - what to expect at rebuy: Work with a friendly team that is passionate about circularity and wants to make the world a little more sustainable, one transaction at a time.
