SAP Analytics Consultant

We are seeking three experienced French-speaking SAP Analytics professionals to strengthen the internal SAP Finance/Analytics team of a public-sector client in Lausanne . The team supports the client’s financial reporting, budget planning, annual accounts and budget publication, all running on an SAP S/4HANA, BW / BW-IP, HANA and BusinessObjects landscape. The three positions cover the full application lifecycle: one keeps the existing reporting and planning chains running, one builds enhancements and new developments, and one defines the target analytics architecture and guides the team through complex projects. All three work together within the same team, so you will have regular contact with colleagues across RUN, BUILD and architecture. Location : Lausanne (minimum 3 days/week on-site during the first 3 months for onboarding and knowledge transfer, then remote. Remote work is possible only from Switzerland or the French border zone. Contract: 01.01.2027 - 31.12.2029, renewable annually Language : Fluent French The Positions: SAP Analytics Techno-Functional Consultant – Corrective & Adaptive Maintenance (RUN) | approx. 100% Qualify and analyse incidents on BW/IP, BO/Lumira, SLT, CDS/HANA Views and output management, including impact analysis Reproduce issues and analyse data, performance, SLT replication and XML generation Deliver corrections and changes across BW/IP, BO, Lumira, CDS/HANA, SLT and the custom ABAP XML program, with regression testing Provide daily support for financial and budget reporting, as well as the production of annual accounts and budget publication Deploy changes, support go-lives, carry out root cause analysis, and drive optimisation and documentation 2. SAP Analytics Techno-Functional Consultant – Enhancements & New Developments | approx. 60% Analyse financial, budget and social reporting needs and map CRM/S4, BW, SLT and output management flows Design BW/IP, HANA, CDS, BO/Lumira and SLT solutions and estimate effort and risks Run POCs on analytical models, SLT and XML output flows Build BW/IP models, CDS/HANA Views, BO/Lumira reports, SLT flows and the ABAP XML program, including testing Prepare environments, transports and go-lives, and hand over to the support team 3. SAP Analytics Expert – Evolutive Maintenance & New Developments (mini-projects) | approx. 45% Define the target analytics architecture (BW/IP, HANA, CDS, BO/Lumira, SLT) in line with the SAP roadmap and cloud analytics solutions Lead scoping and GAP analysis, and deliver documented recommendations backed by SAP references and SWOT analysis Lead POCs and validate performance and reporting output Conduct design reviews, performance analysis and optimisation Support the team on complex developments and knowledge transfer Your Profile (all positions): Senior-level SAP Analytics / BI experience on S/4HANA (for the Expert position: expert level, with proven experience in leading analytics architecture and design) Strong BW / BW-IP skills in design, modelling, data loading, financial reporting and budget planning Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools: AfO, BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, WAD and broadcasting Experience in budget planning, including planning models, simulations, consolidation and reporting Solid knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects, Lumira and migration to WebI (N4V for WebI is a plus) Experience with SAP SLT (CRM → S/4HANA replication, monitoring and troubleshooting) Experience designing, extending and optimising CDS Views and HANA Views ABAP skills to maintain and enhance a custom program generating XML for output management Understanding of integration across CRM, S/4HANA, BW, HANA and reporting tools, with a focus on data quality, performance, security and governance Knowledge of management accounting (controlling) and project management Familiarity with RUN processes: incident resolution, SPS/SP cycles, regression testing, transports and Basis validation Experience with Jira, ChaRM, Solution Manager and Confluence Knowledge of SAP cloud analytics solutions (and, for the Expert position, the SAP analytics roadmap) SAP Analytics certifications (BW, BW-IP, CDS Views, SLT, BO, Lumira, SAP cloud analytics) are an advantage Fluent French is essential What We Offer: A long-term engagement through 2029, renewable annually Meaningful work supporting the financial and budget processes of a public-sector organisation A broad and modern SAP Analytics landscape covering BW/IP, HANA, CDS, SLT, BO/Lumira and cloud analytics A choice of focus (RUN, BUILD or architecture) to suit your expertise and availability Collaboration within an experienced internal SAP Finance / Analytics team Remote working after the onboarding phase Opportunities to shape the client’s analytics architecture and future roadmap Find more English Speaking Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow
