For more information, visit valiantys.com . About the role As a Principal Managed Services Consultant , you will be the foremost technical expert and thought leader within our Managed Services team. You will help enterprise customers get the most from their Atlassian ecosystem by solving complex challenges, improving system stability, guiding architecture decisions, and identifying opportunities to increase adoption, alignment, and return on investment. This is a senior consulting role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a strategic, client-facing mindset. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, Managed Services colleagues, Customer Success, Sales, Delivery, Transformation Consulting, and Enterprise Technology & Innovation teams to deliver measurable value and raise delivery standards across the organization. What you will do Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise customers, connecting Managed Services with Valiantys’ broader offerings to support growth, retention, and long-term value creation. Lead complex problem diagnosis and resolution across customer environments, using deep Atlassian architecture knowledge, trend analysis, and scalable solution design. Improve client system stability by proactively identifying patterns, anomalies, recurring issues, and risks before they become incidents. Design and implement scalable frameworks , best practices, and solutions that improve operational excellence across multiple tools, teams, or customer environments. Lead high-level value conversations with customers, including roadmap planning, executive briefings, optimization programs, and transformation initiatives. Build consultative relationships with senior client stakeholders, including department heads, program managers, IT leadership, and transformation leaders. Coach Managed Services team members to adopt a proactive, consultative mindset and strengthen client communication, stakeholder engagement, and value realization. Establish and roll out standards for knowledge management, enablement content, onboarding, and knowledge transfer within Managed Services. Collaborate across Sales, Delivery, Transformation Consulting, Customer Success , and regional teams to scale frameworks and improve customer outcomes. Contribute to Valiantys thought leadership through webinars, blogs, events, and internal or external knowledge-sharing initiatives. Do you have what it takes? To succeed in this role, you bring: Senior-level consulting experience in Managed Services, Atlassian consulting, enterprise technology, digital transformation, or a similar client-facing technical environment. Deep technical expertise across the Atlassian ecosystem and a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, system stability, integration patterns, and operational best practices. Proven problem-solving skills to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and design scalable, sustainable solutions for enterprise customers. Experience leading strategic customer conversations , value roadmap planning, executive briefings, or optimization initiatives. Strong stakeholder management skills , with the confidence to influence senior business and IT leaders through insight, credibility, and clear communication. A consultative mindset , connecting technical recommendations to business drivers, transformation goals, and measurable customer value. Mentorship & coaching experience , sharing knowledge and raising standards across a technical delivery team. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-moving, international environment. Languages & Location: Location: This role can be based anywhere in Germany, with remote or hybrid working options.
