Principal Consultant - DACH

Job Description: Our Client, a Data & AI strategy and implementation firm is looking for a Senior/Principal Consultant to join their team. This role is key in the technical delivery of high-quality data management solutions for our customers. The Senior Consultant will work directly with clients, leading them through discovery, supporting design and implementation of scalable solutions. This position represents a combination of technical expertise, and ability to interact with customers, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements and deliver strategic value. Expertise in Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Governance best practices from architectural and functional perspective is of key importance for this role, as well as hands-on experience in configuration of data management products, educating and providing guidance to clients. What You Will Do: Advisory Communicate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, business needs, and strategic objectives Educate stakeholders on technical and functional capabilities of the implemented software platforms, share best practices and drive decision making process Prepare and conduct discovery workshops on specific topics to business and technical stakeholders Map business requirements to technical capabilities, help to adjust customer expectations and support them with recommendations Translate technical information appropriately to different levels of the client organization. Solution Design and Documentation Document requirements, user stories and test plans Develop and document design for solution features including data models, quality, data access rules, workflows and user interfaces and data integration mappings Development and configuration leadership Configure the most critical components of the solution Validate development done by other team members, develop testing and deployment plans Provide oversight during development/configuration activities, testing and production deployment to the rest of the project team, developers and consultants. Pre-Sales Support Prepare customer presentations, proofs of concept, visual materials, and other tools for client presentations for business development purposes Contribute to proposal and statement of work documentation by defining and defending needed scope of work, project approach and effort. Who You Are: Advanced German and English speaker Highly focused on detail and results, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with multinational technical team members Advice and guide customer, demonstrate technical expertise and functional knowledge Proactive identifier and communicator of technical risks Demonstrated interest and ability to identify and assist in the sale of new project opportunities Confident to tackle new business or technical challenges. Disciplined curiosity: interest in asking "why" and synthesizing important findings into alternatives and recommendations Excellent oral and written communicator Able to travel to customer locations as needed What You Bring: More than 4 years of experience in the implementation of data management solutions or data management modules of enterprise grade ERP/CRM systems. Preferably - Master Data Management solution implementation using one of the following technologies: Informatica MDM, Stibo Step, Reltio, SAP MDG, TIBCO / Orchestra Experience as a Configuration Specialist and Functonal Consultant Experience driving discovery and design workshop, advisory meetings Experience in SQL development, Java Script and REST API development Experience in data modeling in both customer and product/material data domains Experience in data platforms and analytics (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) Knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks Experience in integration/migration SAP ERP (ECC and S/4 Hana) Deep understanding of use cases for one or many industries What We Offer: Fast Track to Solution Architect / Managing consultant in growing regional organization Customers are Fortune 500 corporate environments, and project work can occur in groups at customer sites or remotely in small teams.
