About the role As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping our production operation running safely, efficiently and reliably. Working as part of our Engineering team, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment, helping to minimise downtime and maximise performance. This is a hands-on role where you'll use both your electrical and mechanical expertise to diagnose faults, solve problems and drive continuous improvement. You'll work closely with colleagues across the site, contributing to equipment reliability, supporting improvement projects and helping to build engineering capability within the team. No two days are the same. Deliver planned and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently across the site Respond to breakdowns and equipment failures by diagnosing faults quickly and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime Support continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities to improve reliability, performance and manufacturing efficiency Provide engineering expertise and technical support across production areas, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues when required Support engineering projects and site improvements including equipment upgrades, capital projects and maintenance planning activities We’d love to hear from you if you can bring: A recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in an engineering discipline Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience with proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of industrial systems and equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and safe working practices A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise workloads and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement Our purpose At KP Snacks, we're passionate about creating happy snacking moments through our great tasting snacks and iconic brands.
