Here are the details What you'll do End-to-End Investigation: Take full ownership of a portfolio of suspected opportunistic and organised fraudulent motor claims, including Accidental Damage (AD), Personal Injury (PI), and Credit Hire (CH). Intelligence & Evidence Gathering: Analyse files to spot subtle inconsistencies. Conduct open-source intelligence searches and utilise industry databases (e.g., CUE, SIRA, MIAFTR, CIFAS) to build robust case strategies. Desktop Interviews: Conduct direct, detailed phone interviews with policyholders, third parties, and witnesses to validate statements and challenge discrepancies. Supplier Management: Appoint and direct external service providers, including forensic motor engineers, investigators, and panel solicitors. Resolution & Repudiation: Make firm, legally grounded decisions on case repudiation, policy voidance, or findings of Fundamental Dishonesty. Reserving: Ensure claim files are reserved accurately in line with company philosophy while consistently meeting agreed SLAs and fraud-saving targets. Fraud Prevention & Impact: Apply proactive fraud detection methods to directly safeguard Prima’s loss ratio and support long-term business growth. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to FCA/PRA regulations, Data Protection/GDPR laws, TCF standards, and Consumer Duty guidelines. What we’re looking for 2+ years of proven experience in handling motor insurance claims, with a dedicated background in identifying and investigating motor fraud. Strong understanding of UK motor liability, indemnity, bodily injury, credit hire, and relevant legal/litigation frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail when identifying red flags across complex claim documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle challenging conversations, conduct detailed interviews, and negotiate repudiations effectively.
